WHITE CLOVER

White clover plants are rather short at 30-40 cm, have a shallow root system with numerous branches under the soil; it also produces runners which form own their roots, quickly filling up any gaps in the sward.

White clover develops early in spring and remains green until late autumn. It is often sown on pastures due to its high tolerance to grazing and trampling, as well as its fast re-growth . It is suitable for most medium-fertile soils, but does not tolerate shaded stands.

White clover is a perennial.
