CUT AND SILAGE MIXTURE KP-8

A perennial mixture for temporary grasslands intended for intensive usage, with the particular aim of producing silage and hay-silage.

 

This mixture has been developed in cooperation with ODR Bełchatów. It is broadly used, and recommended for dairy farms. It has been extensively tested in practice and it has achieved very high yields in multiannual usage. The dominance of ryegrasses, in combination with festulolium and red clover, allows for very high green mass yields with an excellent nutritive quality and good palatability. The carefully chosen mixture composition also provides for easy ensiling.

 

This mixture can be used to regenerate grasslands by means of under-sowing.

 

Sowing rate:

• 35-40 kg/ha.
