CUT AND SILAGE MIXTURE KP-2
A mixture sown on arable land, for perennial, dual-purpose grasslands.
The presence of cocksfoot, smooth brome and alfalfa, as well as festulolium, together with a reduced content of ryegrasses is determines this mixture’s tolerance to seasonal draught. It is recommended for the North-Eastern parts of Poland. This is a typical mixture for green forage silage and hay-silage. The presence of alfalfa enhances nutritive qualities and palatability, as well as increases the green mass output with reduced nitrogen fertilizing.
